Job Title: Skills Development/MHRT C

Supervisor: Field Manager(s)

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED, MHRT-C, valid driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance that meets the minimum Maine standards.

Benefits:  Pillars reimburses staff for mileage expenses incurred while transporting clients, and some other incidental expenses incurred while on shift.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be able to adjust to changes in environment, and adjusts methods to fit the needs and abilities of each client

  • Seeks and accepts feedback from superiors and peers

  • Documentation is completed by all deadlines, and is legible and factual

  • Reviews client documents at the beginning of each shift

  • Has effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Follows all client service plans and guidelines

  • Acknowledges and fixes mistakes

  • Responds quickly to directions and instructions

  • Is dependable and punctual

  • Uses available resources, and asks for help when needed

  • Is willing to learn and use new skills

  • Is willing to participate in activities with clients (This may include light lifting/housework)

  • Follows all policies and procedures

  • Displays the desire to work toward Pillars’ and clients’ goals

  • Must be able to effectively advocate for clients in varied circumstances.

  • Develop and implement plans for Skills Development.

  • Maintain all records for Skills Development.

  • Ensure clients and Case Managers are delegated effectively.
