Skills Development
Job Title: Skills Development/MHRT C
Supervisor: Field Manager(s)
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED, MHRT-C, valid driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance that meets the minimum Maine standards.
Benefits: Pillars reimburses staff for mileage expenses incurred while transporting clients, and some other incidental expenses incurred while on shift.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to adjust to changes in environment, and adjusts methods to fit the needs and abilities of each client

Seeks and accepts feedback from superiors and peers

Documentation is completed by all deadlines, and is legible and factual

Reviews client documents at the beginning of each shift

Has effective verbal and written communication skills

Follows all client service plans and guidelines

Acknowledges and fixes mistakes

Responds quickly to directions and instructions

Is dependable and punctual

Uses available resources, and asks for help when needed

Is willing to learn and use new skills

Is willing to participate in activities with clients (This may include light lifting/housework)

Follows all policies and procedures

Displays the desire to work toward Pillars’ and clients’ goals

Must be able to effectively advocate for clients in varied circumstances.

Develop and implement plans for Skills Development.

Maintain all records for Skills Development.

Ensure clients and Case Managers are delegated effectively.
